What is a gulet?
Traditionally hand made by master craftsmen these attractive wooden motor sailers (gulets) are comfortable vessels and ideal for charters.
The construction of gulets started in Bodrum town in Turkey. The construction of gulets also takes place in Fethiye, Marmaris and Istanbul. Gulets are handmade, mostly with the preferred woods of teak, mahogany and iroko.
The gulet design has evolved into a comfortable blue cruise boat for up to 22 people in self contained double, triple or single cabins. Gulet sizes range between 14 to 40 metres with 3 to 12 (sometimes 16) cabins, each cabin has en suite shower and WC, wardrobe and mirror.
Exceptionally spacious deck areas are complemented by sun mattresses, cushions and sailing equipment. All gulets have plenty of storage for fresh water and fuel. Vhf radio, GSM telephones, full navigation equipment, music system, TV and DVD player, ice maker, deep freezer, fire extinguishers, ,joker boat and full safety equipment such as life raft and life jackets.
